I’m a 25-year-old UNC Chapel Hill graduate with a degree in Journalism and Media. I love stories. Exploring other people’s stories whether through books, movies, or music, but more importantly, I love telling stories – my stories, other’s stories, made-up stories, and I look forward to the day when my career is a storied one.

Currently, I’m the Director of Media, Marketing and Communications at My Life Matters, a non-profit that works with 3rd-12th graders through after school programs in order that every child has the opportunity to make an informed decision to be a follower of Jesus.

My professional experience includes journalistic reporting, photography for corporations and individuals, videography for nonprofits, social media management, business marketing consultation, and copywriting, combining it all to tell dynamic stories. 

FUN FACTS:

A born and raised North Carolinian, I fall more in love with my state with each day. I’m a true southern girl who finds comfort in humidity. 

I have more books than items of clothing. 

Vincent van Gogh and Taylor Swift are my kindred spirits.

Hot sauce is my favorite food. 

And I love a good rom-com. Give me all the movies written by Nora Ephron and starring Meg Ryan. How can you not find her completely endearing?
